The official casting campaign for Miss Armenia 2026 has been announced, marking a new chapter in the global search for Armenian talent across all continents.

A GLOBAL APPROACH TO ARMENIAN IDENTITY
The casting includes three major titles:
- Miss Universe Armenia 2026
- Miss Grand Armenia 2026
- Miss Armenia USA 2026
Each category reflects a different pathway to international representation, while maintaining a shared focus on Armenian heritage and identity.
Unlike traditional pageant systems, the project emphasizes inclusivity. There are no restrictions on height, weight, or motherhood, and candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
CASTINGS ACROSS CONTINENTS
To support its global reach, the organization will host offline castings in key international cities, including:
- Yerevan
- Moscow
- Los Angeles
- Milan
In addition, online castings will take place every two weeks, allowing participants from any location to join the selection process.
MORE THAN A BEAUTY PAGEANT
According to the project’s director, Edgar Saakyan, the initiative is rooted in a broader cultural mission:
“Since we began promoting Armenia and its cultural identity beyond the borders of the country, I have become increasingly convinced that international beauty pageants are one of the most powerful platforms to present Armenia to the world. They allow us to showcase our culture, traditions, and talents, while highlighting the strength, elegance, and character of Armenian women.
For me, an Armenian titleholder is not just a beauty queen. She is an ambassador of Armenian culture, dignity, and the modern Armenian spirit.
Over time, I began searching for Armenian women not only in Armenia but all over the world. Because to me, what matters most is not which passport you hold. What matters is that you speak Armenian, feel connected to your heritage, and are proud of your Armenian roots. Our nation lives across many countries, and I would be honored to welcome Armenian women from around the world to participate in our projects.
Beyond the opportunity to represent Armenia at international competitions such as Miss Universe and Miss Grand, we also open doors to the global fashion industry and international events.
Participants may have opportunities to take part in New York Fashion Week, European fashion weeks, and various international projects as models, ambassadors, or VIP guests.
In addition, we are actively creating opportunities for Armenian talent to grow within the music, film, and media industries in the United States, helping participants expand their careers internationally and explore creative industries beyond pageantry.
Wearing the name Armenia on the sash is not simply a title. It is an honor. It is a responsibility. And it is an opportunity to represent our country with pride and dignity on the global stage.”
INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Beyond competing on stages such as Miss Universe and Miss Grand International, selected participants may gain access to broader opportunities within the fashion and entertainment industries.
These include potential involvement in global events such as New York Fashion Week, European fashion weeks, and international media projects.
APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
The casting process is officially underway, with organizers encouraging applicants and supporters to share the opportunity across global Armenian communities.
As the search expands internationally, the project aims to redefine representation — positioning Armenian identity not as a geographic limitation, but as a global cultural presence.
