Top Model of the World 2026 Announces Colombia’s Katherine Castaño Ahead of Egypt Competition
Sahl Hasheesh, Egypt — The 32nd edition of Top Model of the World 2026 is set to take place from May 24 to June 9, bringing together 40 contestants from across the globe for a two-week international fashion competition.
Hosted in cooperation with Flow Aqua Legends at the V-Hotel arena in Sahl Hasheesh, the event positions itself as both a runway showcase and a global modeling platform.
Meet Katherine Castaño — Colombia
Among this year’s standout contestants is Katherine Castaño, representing Colombia.
A 176 cm model, TV host, and entrepreneur, Castaño brings a strong international portfolio, having walked at major events including Colombia Moda, New York Fashion Week, Miami Swim Week, Miami Fashion Week, Nicaragua Diseña, IXEL Moda, and Mercedes-Benz San José.
Her presence reflects both experience and intention — combining runway discipline with a clear personal narrative.
A Global Stage in Egypt
The competition will take place near Hurghada, a destination known for its Red Sea coastline and growing presence within international fashion and event production.
Contestants will compete not only for the title, but for the opportunity to succeed reigning winner Natalia Garizabal of Colombia — raising the stakes for a potential back-to-back victory.
“This Is Bigger Than Me”
For Castaño, the moment carries personal and national significance:
“I’ve walked the runways, I’ve done the work, I’ve earned my place. But nothing compares to what’s coming next.
From May 26 to June 9, I step onto the global stage in Egypt, representing Colombia against the world.
This is bigger than me. This is for my country. This is for the story I’m here to write.
This isn’t just a dream anymore. This is happening.
And I’m not going quietly… we’re going for that back to back.”
The Energy of the Season
With a mix of fashion, competition, and international visibility, Top Model of the World 2026 continues to evolve as a platform where modeling meets global storytelling.
As the countdown begins, one message stands out:
Let the world watch.
